Part # 70244 Reviews B & M #70244 Converter Lockup Control Rated by Jack on December 23, 2021 Summary: #70244 is a little pricey but was what I needed to control the lockup on the transmission converter on my classic pickup. The installation was very easy and with the adjustment you can set the lockup speed where you want it. I installed this unit ahead of an adjustable vacuum switch with a vacuum delay and also connected it to the brake lights. This lets the converter unlock when you step on the gas pedal hard such as going up a hill and also unlocks it when you step on the brakes. On normal cruise the converter stays locked up after I reach my set speed of 45 MPH. (See attached wiring diagram) Yes, I recommend this product.
