1977-1979 Ford 4×4 Front Cross Member Severe Duty Reinforcement
This new design cross member is for the 1977 1/2-1979 F250/350 4wd trucks. It also fits the 1977-1979 F150 Super Cab trucks with leaf springs. This unit will provide stability for the front leaf spring mounts. The cross member mounts on the stock hanger and spring bolt locations, using the stock hardware. The crossmember is a box-sectioned design made from 3/16″ laser cut steel with 1/4″ thick mounting plated welded to the sides. We also have welded a pair of 3/4″ thick tow points that fit the common 3/4″ shackles. This is a raw metal part and will need to be painted. This is a new, direct fit, reinforcement front spring cross member for the Ford 4wd trucks built between 1977 and 1979.
