Common complaints with those transmissions are rough shifts when cold, soft shifts, lazy kickdown, TCC Slip as well as overheating.The first area of concern leading to those complaints is a worn-out TCC relay boost valve and bushing. When the TCC relay boost valve and bushing wear out, lock-up control and overheating complaints occur. As for the other shift complains, they require recalibration of the accumulator springs, pressure regulator spring as well as the orifices in the valve body separator plate.Features and benefits:This TransGo Shift Kit includes a drop-in USA-made hardened steel TCC relay boost valve and bushing that will restore the hydraulic circuit integrity for type two, three and four valve bodies except some Lexus models.
