HEAVY DUTY SUN SHELL FOR 4L60E, 700 GM TRANSMISSIONSThis is the heavy duty sun (reaction) drive shell for the 4L60E / 700R4 GM automatic transmissions. It is treated (hardened), forged of thicker material than the stock OE shell, and is one-piece (not welded) construction. The spline section is much stronger to prevent breakage common to these OE parts. This HD shell is a must for high performance and heavy duty applications, but is a smart investment for all transmission rebuilds. Includes the special washer for adjusting endplay.
